First cleared and farmed in the 1840s, Kubecka Farms was officially established in 1943 when Steve Kubecka acquired the land and started growing potatoes. The farm is now owned and run by Jeff Kubecka, Steve’s grandson. The rich and sandy soil, left behind by ancient glaciers, is unique to this area and accentuates the delicious flavors of our fruits and vegetables! For over three generations, we have nurtured this land, diversifying our crops from potatoes to sweet corn and an ever-expanding array of fruits and vegetables.
